Does anyone know who made the original combo steaming/deck light for the CD27 (or a suitable replacement)? The 22-year old original on Remedy is no longer waterproof, and the case is so pitted that it chafed through the last set of halyards. I plan to replace the unit from the bosun's chair, and so would like to avoid drilling new holes if possible.
Thanks

Could be Aqua Marine

They made the one on my CD33. I found a replacement at my local chandlery. It was a lot easier to find than I thought it would be.

Duncan,
I "restored" the light on my CD27 #66. It was not very pitted but did need rewiring and riviting of internal parts. Perhaps you could get a quote on re-chroming yours. I spent about $1.85 on parts and three hours of fooling around to get it right but I am most proud of my "accomplishment".
Best of luck.
