Hello,
This morning (and yesterday) I was one water pump away from departure. Now it's something else.
My throttle/shifter lever is stuck in forward. It will not go into neutral or reverse.
Having successfully replaced the water pump on my CD28's Volvo MD7-B ( no small feat for something that sound so simple), I made ready to test my new install only to find this problem.
I had removed the shifter cable from the transmission to remove the muffler to get at the water pump. But this is not what is stuck. It appears that the throttle is stuck. I can shift the transmission by hand, and even when I disconnect the transmission cable, my throttle lever still sticks.
I'm glad to give as much detail as needed and would greatly appreciate any help I can get.
I'm stumped. I can't think of any action I took that should produce this result.
Thank you,
Rob
