so ive finished all the sanding and oiling the teak on my ty weekender and i was on it starting to clean up from winter storage and start going through the riging "purchased it last summer after being on the hard and neglected for at least 4 or 5 years" wen i got to thinking about the past white topside and the darker area where there was a non skid surface.. so im about to do the topside as well. should i sand the surface , if so what grit or should i just clean her up realy good to get all the powder and dirt off then pain? also do i need primer ive looked at west and they have so many products what would you guy recommend? also non skid need advice there as well

I would suggust you get a copy of sailboat refinishing by Don Casey and read it. This will give you a good start.
