After many years of hard service, the outboard motor bracket now droops. Looks like it may fail.
This is the "claw" style of bracket (better term out there?). The cast metal fixture, whilst in a vertical, premount posture, hooks under a cleat on the stern, then rotates astern 90 degrees into a horizontal position. This completes the installation process. The motor is then attached to a wooden mounting plate roughly 6-8 inches astern of the transom.
Could anyone direct me to a source for a reasonably priced replacement.
Thanks,
Ron
