Need to replace mainsheet fiddle block and traveler on CD28
The fiddle block and traveler on my CD 28 is on it's last legs. The system I have now is very improvised. I'm looking for any suggestions on quality hardware that works well. Jac

Hi Jac:
I replaced mine with a Harken ball bearing system. You can go to their web site and it'll walk you through the correct components required for your vessel. They sell a track specifically for upgrades that has the same hole spacing is your existing track, so no hole filling and redrilling is required. The track doesn't need to be prebent. You will need to plane down the teak trim at the end of the cockpit to allow clearance for the car.
Others on this site have replaced with Garhauer. They all seem to be very satisfied with those installations.
Good Luck,
Tony Jeske
