Spirit of Christmas, Oriental, NC
Lou and Marcia Ostendorff will again be hosting this years' Carolinas Fleet Dinner gathering on the evening of Oriental’s Spirit of Christmas festivities (December 8th). This event will be held at the Ostendorff’s condo located in the Old School House (#12). The Spirit of Christmas activities run all day with the parade starting at 4:00 PM. Persons bringing covered dishes may drop off their food anytime that afternoon. All persons interested in attending are asked to bring a side-dish item to share. Grilled meats will be provided on the 'barbi'. The dinner activities will start immediately following the parade. Members and 'potential members' are welcome!
This year’s event will include a special presentation by Hans and Greta. They will share slides and stories from their trip up to the Chesapeake Bay (and back.) Mark your calendars, extend invitations to other Cape Dory folks, cook up something yummy, and be in Oriental for our next Fleet dinner.
