Hi,
I'm trying to find a trailer for my Typhoon. Wondering if anyone out there has any ideas.
I know Triad has trailers but I think they are probably very expensive. I really don't want to spend more than I did on the boat.
I think it would be cheaper to find a suitable size and have someone modify it to fit the boat.
I really feel I'm getting ripped off for hauling and outdoor stoage at my local boat yard, and where I live storage means 5 or 6 months out of the year.
Anyone out there have any ideas. I would like to hear what other people pay for storage just to see if im overcharged or just whinning.

Winter Storage

I'm paying about $660 for winter storage for my typhoon on Long Island. That includes haulout, pressure-wash, storage, and bottom paint and re-launch in the spring. Another common solution around here is to have the boat hauled, then trucked to your house and have it blocked up in your backyard. This may be less expensive.

Re: Nedd Typhoon Trailer - Please Help
Dear Stephen:
If you have access to a steep loading ramp and a place to store the boat, than a trailer is a cost-effective solution. I have a Triad trailer that was custom-made to fit the Typhoon. I might be interested in selling it.
Sincerely,
