Sail Prices

Post by Murray Glue »

Just had a quote from some US sail lofts for a new yankee for the CD30
cutter....typical was $US 1300 plus freight, duty and tax. Had it made
in NZ by a Doyles loft for $NZ 1060, ( $US550 ). The moral is that sails
just might be cheaper made in NZ. I am happy to pass on the name
of the loft if anyone is interested.

Murray,

That's quite a price difference. I am in the market for a new main, so I would greatly appreciate the contact information for that sail maker.

Thanks,
