I estimate the best I could do in medium, steady winds is about 45 degrees.
That's with a 135% genoa and fully battened main.
Is this an excellent/good/fair/poor angle?

Re: What Is a Good Pointing Angle for a CD22?
FWIW, my surveyor has a CD22 and says that is about as good as he gets, and about as good as I could expect to get with the CD27 I'm looking at. His opinion is that 45 degrees is about as good as it's likely to get with any cruising hull.Stephen C. Crampton wrote: I estimate the best I could do in medium, steady winds is about 45 degrees.
