Tampa Bay Cape Dory folks?

Post by wingreen »

I wonder how many of us there are in the Tampa Bay area? It seems that every time I go out there's somebody on the dockside who says something like, "WOW! Is that a Cape Dory? I/ my friend/ my dad/ etc. used to have one..."

Tampa Bay cape dorys

My boat , a cape dory 30(b), is docked at the Harborage Marina in St. Pete. I am sailing most weekends, weather permitting, and you can hail me on channel 16. Just call "Jambalaya." I'll look forward to hearing from you. Hope you get lots of responses to this.

I'll hail you next time I'm down that way, Will. I'm usually not down that far on weekends on account of the intense boat traffic (weekdays are so much easier for me), but I can make a point to do so sometime this summer. I'll send you a message to let you know when I'm coming.
