I'm in the process of purchasing a CD 30 located in the San Francisco Bay Area and would welcome any referrals from Cape Dory Owners who know a Marine Surveyor in this area who is familiar with Cape Dory sailboats.

I recently purchased a CD-33 and had Robert Richards do the survey. We were very pleased with his approach and attention to detail. He very professonal and in my mind a great advocate for the buyer.I checked him out with a few other recommended surveyors and found nothing but positive response. Someone stated that if there was an engine question they went to him to resolve as they felt he was the best in the bay.I do not have his number with me but email if you can not find him listed in latitude 38. He is located at Brickyard Cove Marina.

Kent Parker.....One of the best in the Bay. Has done 2 surveys for me allready.....both Cape Dorys. Check him out. You will find nothing but good things are being said about him.

List Marine in Sausalito will do an engine survey. The Marine surveyor often will not do the desiel. It is a seperate servey.
