Re: CD 28 The Build to Blue... water

Okay UPDATE: Camco tank cleaner was a bust... Kind of. The device works well and without issue. The pressure was good. For 25 bucks and a 2 day delivery from Amazon, I think it can use it for something other than the tanks... eventually. The tanks didn't have much silt as I thought. They were staine...

Just adding my two cents -

I've gone through your post and there is a lack of pictures. Pictures. Pictures. Pictures.
People still eat with their eyes.

Sincerely,

A man that bought a 28', 3 states away basically, over the internet for almost the same price.

Re: CD 28 The Build to Blue... water

Great tip Mr. Walsh. I'm not afraid of bleaching the tanks. However, I am worried about the taste. Additionally, there is quite a bit of sediment in the tanks. That sediment has dried and (am guessing) going to take some sort of pressure to knock off. I'll follow up on how the RV tank sprayer device...

Hello CD Forum! Continued from my last post - I have my Cape Dory 28 on the hard in New Bern North Carolina. I'm cleaning everything inside. I've cleaned and painted the chain locker. Cleaned and laundered all of the cushions. I have wiped down every surface with bleach and scrubbed everything. The ...

Re: North Carolina Liveaboard Marina's, need guidance, help.

Sounds like you're livin' the dream. Lot's of happy boat owner stories to tell in the future. I'm in Ft. Lauderdale and live aboards here are disappearing fast. Best of luck but don't give up! Keep us posted. I will man. I almost bought a boat in Ft. Meyers. Ended up buying a boat in NC, on a lake....

Re: North Carolina Liveaboard Marina's, need guidance, help.

Jim. I appreciate your input. Thank you for describing the towns in a little more detail for me. Unfortunately I do not have the funds or the time to visit each area. Google has provided 90% of the information I have needed. But a referral or personal experience goes a long way. I'm sure you can att...

North Carolina Liveaboard Marina's, need guidance, help.

I am looking for a liveaboard Marina, in North Carolina. I have a 28' Dory. I have a small dog. I am a single man that will be living on the boat with the dog. I need a good boatyard with a lift so I can do maintenance and repairs. (Painting, epoxy, gel coat repair) I need a Marina close to a town a...
