The CD33 is a sloop rig. The CD330 is a cutter rig. I suspect the move the mast aft a bit in the redesign from sloop to cutter. Hence the boom being shorter.

Big E, I purchased a Tohatsu 4 stroke 6hp a couple of seasons back to replace the original 1978 Johnson 9.9. What a difference. The Tohatsu has so much more power. bgephart - Did you find a supplier for teak toe and rub rails. I had the same thing happen to my 1978 CD25 here in Chicago. I'm looking for a supplier? Did you try Robinhood in Maine?
