It seems that I dropped a different tool into the lake on every other weekend. I replaced the top decking with new fiberglass. 1 layer of matt and 2 layers of bidirectional. While I am at it, I might as well replace my leaking hatch glass and re-seal it. All I have left for this repair is to touch up some of the topside paint, apply my kiwigrip antiskid, and replace my deck fitting for the anchor chain exit (hawsehole?) Oh, and also rewiring of the nav lights.

Meanwhile, we have had a stormy spring here in Atlanta, and one of my deck lines broke, causing the stern of the boat to bang against the dock. More fiberglass repair and woodwork!

I have been in contact with the Triad trailer company about making a trailer. This is an option that I am considering and may pursue. I am also interested in a used trailer that could carry a Cape Dory 27 for sale separately from the boat if that is a thing.

I would like to find a Cape Dory 27 for sale close to Atlanta Georgia. I also would like a trailer for a Cape Dory 27. I would be keeping it on Lake Lanier.
