Re: New book released: global circumnavigation on a CD30

Thanks Jim, Marc, and everyone else. Skeep, I really appreciate the excellent review on Amazon. To answer your question, we left California in 2010 and the winter in Sitka was 2013/2014. Lots of darkness and precipitation in various forms, but an excellent environment to buckle down and write a book...

Re: New book released: global circumnavigation on a CD30

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the feedback. This is a very welcoming message board and I appreciate the friendly responses. I'm thrilled that everyone is enjoying the book. Tom, we loved Ford's Terror. I'm not sure we would do it again, although we wouldn't miss Tasmania for anything. We did very little to the boat to prepare other ...

New book released: global circumnavigation on a CD30

In an act of shameless self-promotion, I'd like to post a link here to Orca , a book about circumnavigating aboard our CD30. Our boat served us faithfully and faultlessly in the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and Southern Oceans. I believe other CD owners will enjoy this account of our four-year, 40,000...
