Thanks Cathy for all your research. Bomar does have the 9/16th rubber seal. I am going to call them today. I think I may need 1/2". Your websites have been very helpful. I really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone for your input. Micheal is correct about the ports. I did not remove my ports. I manage to get the outside trim ring off two off them but it was so difficult that I decided it would do more harm then good to take them off. So I sanded them to bare aluminum in place, ( horrible job!) ...

I meant to say that the port holes are NOT the same as on other Cape Dory's.

I am restoring an intrepid 9 meter. Any info on where i can get parts? I need gasket materials for the port holes, a bow and a stern pulpit, a dodger, handrails, eyebrow rails, and a few other things. I would appreciate any help.

I am restoring a 1980 intrepid 9 meter. I am interested to talk to anyone who has any info on the subject. My present problem is I need to replace the gasket material around the portholes. Does anyone know who made them and where i might find such material. The hatches are Bomar but there is no name...
