Re: YANMAR SERVICE MANUAL MARINE DIESEL ENGINES
I will try to make one last attempt to locate the current caretaker of S/V Bali Ha'i (now possibly renamed True North) to see if they want the Yanmar manuals for the 1GM. If no one speaks up a member on this board has asked for them. The current caretaker recently (March/A;ril 2024) purchased his/he...

Re: Service manual for a 1GM
Hello Thom:
I am admittedly surprised that the current caretaker of S/V Bali Ha'i (now possibly renamed True North) has not posted on this board. Perhaps s/he does not know of this board.
I will wait a little longer for someone to come forward. If no one does, they are yours.

YANMAR SERVICE MANUAL MARINE DIESEL ENGINES
During the height of the Covid pandemic I was forced to sell my beloved Cape Dory 25D, S/V Bali Ha'i. Hull Identification Number: CPDY0069M82K USCG Official Number: 1237123 In preparation for the sale to a sailor in New Hampshire I carefully searched my home for any items associated with S/V Bali Ha...

Re: Hurricane Season 2022
I know hurricane season extends to the end of November and we all need to be cautious but this is a very nice-looking map of the Eastern Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.

Re: Hurricane Season 2022
I forgot to give access procedures for the NOAA/NHC site. Sorry. From the NOAA/NHC website click on the storm system you are checking. In this case, Ian. You will see seven (7) small screens near the top of this new page. Click on the small screen that says "Warning/Cone Static Images&quo...

Re: Hurricane Season 2022
This is website for NOAA/NHC hurricane tracking. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ Over the years I have found it to be the most accurate, cautious, easy to access, and simple to understand. John's website reference is excellent for accurate, real time, interactive, visual projections with access to several...

Re: Hurricane Season 2022
Bermuda survived Hurricane Fiona with minimal damage and, importantly, as of yesterday's reports, no deaths. Very lucky Now, we have soon-to-be Hurricane Ian headed to Florida. It looks like the entire state will soon be within "the cone of uncertainty". Projected landfall is late Wednesda...

Re: The Log of Typhoon "Dory"
Thanks for these vicarious day sails. Your writing and pictures are pleasant and read well. A good mix! Jim: I agree 110% with Seaweed's comments. Excellent action photos. Excellent commentary. As I read your posts and studied the photos I had a sense of being there. It doesn't hurt that you are sa...
