More Dodgers & Biminis
This is Bandolera II with her dodger, bimini and side panels to help with the killer Florida sun and late day no-seems... my side panels are zipped on to the bimini and they could also be rolled up and held with the plastic straps. Most of the times, I just unzip them and keep them inside while sail...

Neil, Bandolera II has a Michigan prop 14 RH 13 wo 12 (right turning) three blade. My Universal Model 30 #5424 cruises happily at 2200 rpm's without overheating and will go up to 2500 rpm's but if I stay for too long at the higher speeds, it will tend to get hot. But then I reduce speed somewhat -ba...

Sea Hunt... the boat yards around the Miami / So. Miami area will not offer you what you are hoping for. There are a couple of Do IT yourselve yards where some of us do our maintenance. I do most of my sailing on Biscayne Bay, and the Keys. It is great sailing down here, of course, except when the h...

Hi Mike... Since I do have one, I saw your nice little podcast - I thought it would be a video, not a series of still shots. Why did you use this format vs. shooting a video? Any special reason? I enjoyed your blog.

Heat Exchanger for Universal
Good morning, Ed...
I was wondering if you still have the 3" heat exchanger from your old Universal. If so, and $75. is acceptable to you, plus shipping, I would like to buy it from you. Wishing you, your family AND Mokita a healthy and happy New Year.

Skip and all... Thanks for taking the time to explain what happened to my ex... and for your committment to repair her. She is such a beautiful and worthy small yacht. When I sold her I included my 25 lb. brand new CQR. I notice you do not mention that anchor. Did you ever get it? For your info, she...

Permission to Come Aboard
I must say my heart skipped 100 beats when I read your post and as I type this my stomach is at my throat and my hands are shaking. I couldn't have read worst news. I dearly loved my first Bandolera, which I owned for 18 years. It pained me having to sell her, but I had just upgraded to the CD33 and...
