Hi Mike... Since I do have one, I saw your nice little podcast - I thought it would be a video, not a series of still shots. Why did you use this format vs. shooting a video? Any special reason? I enjoyed your blog.

On My CD-25 I never did use the roller reefing boom. Instantly I had my main fitted with the reefing points and the hardware attached to the boom. It is impossible (well, nearly) for a singlehander to reef with a roller reefing boom.

Will my CD-33 make it across? I draw 5 ft., mast height is 46-1/2 ft. Anxious to make the trip. Any info welcomed. Thanks.

Larry, if your engine has more than 1500 hrs. check the damper plate. you may find it needs to be replaced.
