BUTYL RUBBER TAPE
This tape usually comes in rolls of about 20 feet. The main use for the tape is for automotive front and rear windshields. Most auto stores such as NAPA, Auto-Zone, CAP, Advance sell butyl tape. Also try any windshield glass company as they replace auto glass all the time. Hope this helps.

construction plans
Does anybody know if construction plans or blueprints exist for the Typhoon? I know that the deck molds were destroyed. That the hull mold was greatly modified to build the Hurricane gaff-rigged sloop. Which since has been retired. Thanks.

I use the main halyard. Tie a figure eight knot at the end. Then run the halyard shackle through the anchor eyelet. Then run the line back to the cockpit around the winch.
