I was out in one of the Turnabouts from CYC on Friday in the pond. It was pretty breezy and gusting that day as I recall.
At least the 40 goes to the town of Cuttyhunk to help maintain that wonderful place.

Liveaboard Listserv?
Hello,
I have heard others mention other listservs in cyberspace...does anyone have any recommendations for good liveaboard listservs?
My wife and I have begun to entertain the dream in a more serious fashion.

does anyone have a suggestion on what type of chain to get and where? West Marine seems so expensive. But the chain I bought last year at the local Home Depot is already rusting.

Using PVC
Marilou
when you put the transducer in the pvc pipe with mineral oil, does it simply float or sink in the mineral oil? Or do you also affix it within the PVC pipe someway?

Hmmm.
Well, Carter's post is certainly not want I wanted to hear after my mainsail just arrived from Sailcare a few days ago.
From a visual inspection, my sails looks great and the customer service was excellent. However, I'd be interested in the more erudite sail scholars among the Board.

Another Bottom Paint Question
Another neophyte question.... I was looking over the boat yesterday and noted that only a small amount of the bottom paint I applied last spring came off. Does one need to sand and paint the entire bottom yearly....or can you just touch up some areas that the paint came off? I'm sailing up in Rhode ...

Speaking of Boom Vangs...
I've been wanting to install a boom vang. Any advice on how to install a horseshoe shaped bail into the mast to attach the vang. Does one just drill into the mast? Is that in anyway going to affect the integrity of the mast?

Undoing a Stuck Screw...any advice
I'm looking for a little help from the collective wisdom on the board....any one have any suggestions for how to unstuck a stuck screw. I'm in the process of dismantling my pedestal steering to install a new pedestal guard and subsequent Navpod for a new chartplotter. I believe four of the screws we...
