The Cape Dory Board

in about 3 to 4 weeks i will be heading to san diego from oahu for first sail this season on ua noa 30 ft cape dory then put on a trailer to tow to corpus christi tx see how it goes.

on my cape dory 30 my propane locker is located in starboard locker holds two 3lb tanks all encased that slides in and out on tracks for easy access.

i have cape horn wind vane on my cape dory 30 and lines run in the cockpit works great no problems.

anyone know where i might get a trailer for cape dory to buy or rent to ship boat from honolulu to texas this would drop the cost to ship tremendously.

as long as you tie the rudder to the boat it gives away if you hit something and you want lose the rudder and just reinstall back on tube.

yes thats how its rigged it has worked great for me, all though the lines do get in the way as you said the lines do run through the cockpit to the wheel this cd30 as worm gear steering

i have a cape horn wind vane on my cd30 and it works flawlessly easy to use sailed from honolulu to maui and back in 30 ft swells the best for the money.
