I think you need to accept registrations 5 days before the event rather than 10 days out. The weather is too iffy for folks to make a decision that early. Anyway, it’s just a suggestion.

We replaced the core in the cockpit sole of our CD32 several years back. We did it ourselves. It’s a messy job, but you can do it.

More info would help. Does it at least try to turn over? What are the symptoms? The more info you can provide, the more likely someone will be able to help.
