The Cape Dory Board

I am looking for the bronze kick up rudder bracket for a Cape Dory 14. Ours has cracked after hitting the mud once too many times in the Duxbury Bay estuary. A brazing repair did not hold.

Has anyone been able to source one of these?

The the bond between the floatation compartments on my CD14 and the hull needs some attention. The compartments look as though they are intended to be watertight rather than foam filled. Does anyone know if the bond between the floatation compartments and hull needs to be water tight? In other words...
