I have a Cape Dory 25, and I want to replace my 8 hp Mercury two-stroke motor (with remote control) with a four-stroke motor. Given the limitation of the small well, I'm looking for any recommendation for a used or new motor that will fit.

Hi- Does anyone know which 4-stroke engine fits in the outboard engine well of a Cape Dory 25, preferably with a remote control? Right now I have a 2-stroke 8 HP Mercury outboard engine which just died and won't start. Thanks so much.

I just ripped my main sail. I am looking for a new or good condition used sail.
