The Cape Dory 42 Commercial Lobster Dragger was designed for a unique boating experience…a lazy afternoon on the hook in a peaceful cove, racing across a sun-dappled sea, slipping off the deck shoes and relaxing when the sun goes down, entertaining guests on the water or dockside, or visiting exotic ports of call on an extended cruise -- she's not just as a workhorse! She is perfect for enjoying quality time on the water with friends and family, sleeping two forward and one in the pilothouse.

Solid fiberglass hull construction, cuddy and house of Airex and marine plywood-glassed on both sides. There are three aluminum hatches and a 7000 lb. fishhold. She is driven by an 892N 300 HP Detroit Diesel from her split wheelhouse and can cruise at 10 knots (12 knots tops). Fuel is stored in three 100-gallon fiberglass tanks.
