For anybody that would like to sail along with
S/Y Realization (Cape Dory 32) and
her crew, or just meet up in an anchorage or two during this year’s
"CDSOA Maine Cruise", a brief description
of the itinerary appears below.
The current plan is for Bruce Halley and Cathy Monaghan to depart
aboard Realization from somewhere on
Cape Cod Bay (probably Provincetown, MA) between August 8th and
the 10th for the 30-hour overnight sail. At any rate, we hope
to be heading for the Sheepscot River and Ebencook Harbor, ME
and will probably anchor in Maddock Cove where
we intend to spend a couple days before heading to Muscongus Bay
where the CDSOA Maine Cruise will begin at Maple Juice
Cove on Monday, August 13th.
