CD 25D for Possible Sale

Post by Mike Kifer »

CD 25D, Hull #64, 1982, Sea Breeze. I have recently relocated to Biloxi, Mississippi from Honolulu, Hawaii and Sea Breeze came with me. New job is not giving me time to enjoy the boat. It has been lovingly maintained - here are a few items: new mainsail 1996, new standing/running rigging, new storm jib, new life lines, new seat cushions, all in 1997, new 110 jib, new 150 genoa, new sail, winch, and tiller covers, all in 1998. Recent bottom paint (one week old as of 28 June 98), engine starts first time every time, topsides compounded and buffed out, deck scrubbed religiously, CETOL on woodwork, original owners manual, tech manual for Yanmar - by now you get the picture. It is all paid for - however the right price can talk me into letting her go. Contact with e-mail please - then I'll shoot you my phone number.

Do you want to sell or not? If the boat is really for sale, show a price upfront and be a straight-shooter.

Kevin, this is the second time recently that you have shown a certain impatience that is really unnecessary on this bulletin board. This BB is a great resource for learning about Cape Dory's, and for those of us with common interests to communicate with each other. I have been very impressed with how thoughtful and helpful the postings are. I hope we will all continue to maintain this cordiality.

Darin,

Thanks for expressing what the rest of us were thinking. You exhibit a maturity and grace that we all can learn from. It is my experience that open communication is best promoted in an environment of mutual respect and consideration, and I agree that we have had that to date. Perhaps this one episode will re-invite us all to continue that ethic.

This one sounds familiar. I know personally this hull is a beauty.
