Thanks so much to everyone out there who contributed suggestions regarding my Yanmar 1GM engine riddles. If I ever get to the bottom of this (before I get to the bottom of my pockets), I'll let everybody know what the verdict is. One gentleman seemed to be saying, basically: it's old, it's tired, have a little compassion. I feel my compassion level growing in direct inverse relation to my level of funds, I have to admit. Plus, being old and tired myself, I ought to be empathetic, no?
