Today I got home from work in the middle of a rainstorm to find my cockpit almost filled to the bottom of the cabin entrance with rain water. I have cleared the drains before with a reversing the force of a wet-vac and pushing the debree in the clogged drains out the bottom of the boat. This was a successful project but I hesitate to do it again for fear I might loosen the seacock hoses. I am wondering if anyone has any other useful methods of clearing the drains. As always, the input of this board is greatly appreciated.

Re: seacock drains
I took the advice of this very board about a month ago by purchasing at Lowe's a small plunger (no more than 4 inches in diameter) and it worked just as successfully as the posting said it would. Now both of my cockpit scuppers are completely free of debris. Thanks to all for making this board such an invaluable resource!!David Miller wrote: Today I got home from work in the middle of a rainstorm to find my cockpit almost filled to the bottom of the cabin entrance with rain water.
