I've looked at a few CD-25's lately and noticed that several of them from the mid 70's have blue non-skid. The interior fiberglass of the entire cabin was also robin's egg blue. Were these factory original colors or have they been repainted somewhere along the way? The 1981 Typhoon I sail on is white all around!

Baby Blue CD25 Non-Skid+Interior color, is it original?

My old 25 #21 has the light blue nonskid and interior gelcoat. That was original for the early boats (and really pretty to my eye).
I've been able to refinish using Petit Easypoxy, mixing 5 parts Bimini Blue to 1 part Semi-Gloss White. It looks so much like fiberglass (because it's not glossy) that many folks don't believe it's paint. If you ever paint your deck, as I did, be sure to use the non-skid additive (as I DIDN'T......DUMB!)
