Volvo MD7a Al gaskets/washers

Many of the replacement parts that require "washers" or "gaskets" for Volvos are coming through with Al instead of copper.

After spending an afternoon trying to find an air leak I traced it back to the washers on the fuel line going into the fuel pump. They had corroded/cracked and were letting air into the system. What began as difficulty starting quickly turned into quitting in less than a couple of minutes.

The long and the short of it: get copper washers when doing repairs.
