Waterline

Hello ! I am trying to figure out where the Waterline goes on my Cape Dory Typhoon ? I Sanded down the keel then added two coats barrier coat and now I need to figure where-abouts the proximity of the waterline. Who ever had the boat previously outlined two waterlines which makes it difficult to decide on exactly where the waterline will go. Could someone direct me in solving this problem ? Thnx, Mich

Mine's in the water now, so I can't really help, but there was a post to this board quite some time back in which someone posted measurements at various points around the hull where the water line should go. Try doing a search of the archives for "waterline".
