Simrad Auto pilot

I am thinking of installing a Simrad WP30 auto pilot on a Cd33. Has anyone used or installed one. Does anyone know if a Simrad will clear the throttle, shift lever and instrument pods on the Edson pedestal?

I installed the WP30 on BLUECHIP a few months ago. It just barely clears the shift lever. The throttle has plenty of clearance. We do not have an intstrument pod on our pedestal so I can't comment on that. What year is your 33? I am curious to know if our pedestals are set up the same way. The minimal clearance of the shift lever has not caused any problems with the operations. The autopilot itself works very well. The installation is pretty simple - hardest part was running the wires. If you want any dimensions or measurements let me know.
