balloon curtains

I have recently bought a pair of balloon curtains that unfortunately came with clips instead of strings. My daughter has already fallen in love with the curtains. I was wondering if anyone had the pattern for hanging the strings. I would greatly appreciate them. I have already called the store where I purchased them and they do not sell the strings. I have already bought soutache braid for this purpose.
