Re: NON-SKID PAINT FOR TY WEEKENDER
I'd recommend searching this board. There have been lots of posts regarding paint, non-skid and otherwise.

Re: NON-SKID PAINT FOR TY WEEKENDER
I just painted mine. I used Brightside Polyurethane with polymeric non skid additive. The color was the Bristol Beige and to my eye it looks close to what the factory used. The instuctions are to let the polymeric spheres soak for 20 minutes before application because apparently they absorb the paint. I have to think this is a good thing for long-term appearance. I stirred regularly and applied with a 3 inch roller, and have to say I am pleased with the even dispersion of the non-skid attitive. The surface feels like 300 grit sandpaper.
