Does anyone know the manufacturer or where I can get the threshold bracket which holds the top of the companionway ladder to the threshold on a 25D? Many thanks for any help you can give me.

I just saw Lively Lady, Jim Westphfal's 25D. His boat has a ladder bolted to the engine compartment hatch cover. It does not extend up to the bottom of the companionway. This opens the space to the sink and makes it much more utilitarian. This had never occured to me before. I would skip the bracket and that ladder with the piping which mars the cabin sole and go for this solution.
