Warren, Here is something you might try when looking for concealed wires. Rehook up your light(s) and turn on anything electrical in the surrounding area where you are going to work. The more load, the better. Make sure that you have a fully charged battery. Next, borrow, beg or steal a little gizmo that electricians carry in their tool box called a "tic-tac", or live current sensor. Make sure it will detect D.C. current at 12 volts or whatever voltage you are using. It acts something like a studfinder. When you pass it back and forth over the area you will be working in and it emits a signal, bingo. Beware. Hope this might help. Good luck. John D.
