I measured the step height (distance it goes into mast) before stepping; misplaced my note. I recall a number just under 2" to the flange that attaches to the coachroof. If anyone is still not stepped, I'd appreciate some confirmation. Thanks.

Re: CD 30 cutter mast step height
Joe,
We are still not in the water (!!), thus unstepped. I can measure the step height for you this weekend and report back Sunday night if that would help.
I do believe it to be near 2 in. though. How accurate do you need to be?

Re: CD 30 cutter mast step height
Thanks, Larry: I am going to install a mast ring at the aft base of the mast for vang and reefing blocks, as I had on my 28. I just want to be sure that the lower machine screws clear the step. A "less than" measurement would be fine. Thanks again.
