All Cape Dorians,
This years Maine Cruise has us visiting Camden on Tuesday, August 20th. (A complete Itinerary is at the end of this message). In anticipation of our visit I talked to Wendy at Wayfarer Marine about mooring reservations. She told me that they usually sell out by Mid April and that all reservations require a credit card guarantee.
We are still putting together all the details for the normal registration process and will not have them complete in time to make an April timeframe. So, if you are considering joining us on this summers Maine Cruise you should make your own mooring reservations in Camden now. The number for Wayfarer Marine is 207-236-4378.
Inner harbor moorings are $35/night and outer harbor
moorings are $30.00/night. Both fees include launch service.
I have also contacted the mooring services in Tenants Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Bucks Harbor and Christmas Cove. I have tentative reservations for 10 boats and can get more in Tenants and Christmas Cove. Northeast is on a 1st come 1st serve basis only and I'm still waiting to hear back from Bucks harbor.
The complete itinerary for this summers Maine Cruise is:
Saturday August 10 Onset, MA Start Overnight
Sunday August 11 Tenants Harbor, ME
Monday August 12 Long Cove, ME Raft Up
Tuesday August 13 Vinalhaven

Re: Mooring Reservations for CDSOA Maine Cruise
If you need any help in Camden, We own a C.D. 33 and a restaurant on the harbor with dockage. At the least there is dingy space, fresh water, and probably overnight dockage for a couple of boats. Look us up at waterfrontcamden.com or contact me by email. If you wish to see midcoast maine and search around try k2bh.com and go to Rockland, Camden or Belfast.

Dinner on the Maine Cruise!
I'll have the Rock Crab and Artichoke Fondue followed by the Baked Stuffed Lobster with Local Crab & Shrimp. Too bad I'm down on the Chesapeake and can't come up for dinner, but its sounds good :~)

This is a good restaurant, right on the waterfront of the inner harbor. It is next door to Willey's Wharf, which has a few slips ($2.50/ft) and a mooring float in the inner harbor (about $35/night). The Camden Yacht Club often has empty moorings and mooring floats also.Leonard Lookner wrote: If you need any help in Camden, We own a C.D. 33 and a restaurant on the harbor with dockage. A great restaurant
The Waterfront is our favorite restaurant in Camden. We recommend it highly. In fact, Merrie and I ate there last January. We had been at Robinhood working on the Maine Cruise and parlayed the trip into a mini vacation. No the CDSOA did not pick up the bill:-). Anyway the mussels are to die for.
