Captains,

Thanks for your suggestions on the "port tack starting rule".

Of course I may have jumped the gun with this question as I'm still on the hard and cannot perform any of the test suggested. However spring is getting closer, and the minute she's in I will begin the process of testing your theories. In the meantime it has given me something to think about.

Thanks for all of your suggestions, and once in the water I'll surface with the solution or more questions!!!
