Gene,

I have a 1977 CD30 ketch. My 1981 manual at work only lists the rigging for the cutter. I'll check my 1978 manual at home and see if it lists the ketch. My recollection is main forestay, backstay, and uppers are 1/4". Lowers are 3/16". I believe the stays on the mizzen mast are all 3/16". My advice is to measure your rigging and replace with like size. I have been using mechanical terminals instead of swages with the rigging I have replaced.

Gene, FWIW I suggest you remove all rigging and take it to the rigger, assuming it's original and correct (which I cannot help with; ours is a cutter, too). Ask them to return your old and new wire. I learned the hard way they can make mistakes. Witht the old wire, they should get all the sizes and lengths correct.
