Am interested in any background material regardingthe Cape Dory Intrepid 28'. Who designed it, howmany produced, others interested in this model.

I believe it was designed by Chuck Paine. I workedat Cape Dory in 1980. Not many Intrepids were built, one of the last ones built had a hull numberin the 20's (I may be wrong here). Also, I believe Cape Dory was not the first to producethis boat, as they aquired the molds from another manufacturer.
