I recently purchased a 1977 cape dory with the original circuit board.
My question is:
There's a rotary switch at the top of the board that has four positions on it- two off positions;and one anchor position and one distress position. What is this switch for and when is it used?

Re: rotary switch CD30 1977
Hi Allen,
I just sold 'Heather Ann', 1977 CD30 Ketch, and remember no such rotary switch on the DC Panel. (By "top of the board" you are referring to the DC Distribution Panel - correct??) But I would guess from your description it may be a selector switch for a masthead anchor/strobe light combination. Is this arrangement currently on your CD30?
