My CD25 had a full set of inoperative gauges (Kenyon). I replaced 2, but still had one hole. I was dreading fixing that hole, when I realized I could take the guts out of a Kenyon gauge, shorten the aluminum tube (to come just past flush in the cabin), and remount it as a viewport. Works great! Looks like it belongs there. Broken gauges are really cheap......cheaper than portlights, anyway.

Have you ever wanted an aft view mini-port?

My 31 has a portlight on the cockpit bulkhead into the head & it's great.JimL wrote: My CD25 had a full set of inoperative gauges (Kenyon). I replaced 2, but still had one hole.
