Auto pilots: CD25D

I'm considering purchasing a Navico model 100 auto pilot for my CD25D. If anyone has experience with installing auto pilots, and any experience that they would like to share concerning auto pilots on tiller steered CD's, please let me know. Everything about about the Navico 100 seems right including the boat weight capaity and the price. I have to measure the cockpit to see just if I'm gonna need any extensions, etc.

I PUT A OLDER TILLERPILOT 1600 ON SKUA. IT WORKS WELL AT LEAST UNDER POWER, I HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO TEST IT UNDER SAIL. I CAN DISCUSS THE DETAILS OF THIS INSTALLATION IF YOU'LL CALL ME. WE FORGOT TO TALK ABOUT IT AT THE G-HOG RENDEVOUS. H0ME)757 547-7714, WORK)757 625-4878.

my cape dory 25d, hull #107 has a navico model 100 tillerpilot which seems to fit the boat without modification. previous owner wired to 12v. plug from aux switch in panel. excellent under power and so far very good under sail, holding course to weather in 12-15 kt. this is the right choice in my book!
