Hello,
We are "remodelling" below, and want to replace the V berth and Main Saloon cushions. Does anyone know of a good company in the Connecticut area? Thanks, and have a great sailong season!

New belowdecks cushions-any good sources?

Stan;
I don't know how handy you are with a sewing machine (I'm not, really), but you may want to think about doing them yourself. I got 4" foam from a local place (here in Michigan, called the "Foam Factory") for about fifty bucks, and the fabric, hunter green Sunbrella, from SailRite over the net, for about a hundred and fifty (had several yards left over). We used the old cushions as patterns, and decided to just make a velcro closure rather than deal with zippers; it took about six hours with a standard sewing machine, and while some of my first seams aren't perfect, we just shove those sides in where you can't see them. Still, the overall effect is great, and a good bit less than the $1100 and $1200 quotes I got!
