I raised the mast on the 25d this morning by using the hinge on the mast step and self-tensioning preventers. There was a post a while ago with links to his web page showing how to run the lines so the the issue of preventer tension is resolved nicely.
I will look for it in the search tool here and see if I find it... I know that there has been a lot of interest in this subject.
