We have just purchased a CD 28 that is rigged with two headsails on Harken roller furlers. My KISS instincts tell me that I want to go back to a single headsail of the original size but on a furler. I have no experience on this subject, can anyone help!?!
Thanks......Jack CD28 #153

Re: CD 28 Head Sails
Jack: I have no experience with double headsails on a 28. However, we installed roller furling and a 155% genoa on ours several years ago, removing the boom, etc. It was a great arrangement. We now have a 30, so we're going to learn about staysails, but I'd recommend you use one genoa on a roller furler for "simplicity". Joe
