replacing watertanks on cd33

My water tanks both port and stbd. have seen their day. Kracor (sp) the mfg. wants over 650.00 each to replace them and a very long wait.

i'm thinking of aluminum replacement tanks.

does anyone have any comment on them, had them made (if so, by whom).

any feedback on lining them or coating the inside of the tank.

any feedback on water quality and taste?
