CD25 Mast ground

I am looking for the mast grounding conductors on my CD25 but to date I have not found any. Also , what besides the cabin top suports the mast?

John,
I have not found any mast grounding connectors on my boat either. To my knowledge, nothing supports the mast except the cabin top and it seems to do a fine job. My 1975 built CD25 shows no sign of stress from the mast and I and a previous owner sailed her in some rough conditions.

I don't believe the CD25s were grounded. Definately the early ones weren't.
Also, I believe I have read, on this site, that the deck and the interior woodwork supports the mast. So nor overtighten your rigging and do not remove the interior woodwork.
